The history of the Ohlone Indians is memorialized along this Temescal Creek channel. Images and information are etched into glass along the edge of the creek to depict the Ohlone Native Americans' rich cultural past. This interpretive space is now the focus of Bay Street in downtown Emeryville. We worked with local artists to interpret natural history, geology, aquatic plant life, and biological systems of the Ohlone life and culture. A pallete consisting mainly of native planting complements the contextual environment theme.
