Hamilton Field, a former military facility, is now a comprehensively planned community of approximately 355 acres of mixed use, commercial and residential development surrounded by open space.
As land planners and landscape architects, we produced a master plan to guide future development. An extensive outreach program resulted in a community-supported plan that avoids adverse impacts on neighbors and the environmental systems. The open space elements of the plan include a trail system through the rolling hills with native oak woodlands, as well as protection of wetlands and sensitive habitats.
