Bay Meadows is composed of the following projects: an 858 unit residential apartment complex, a mixed-use retail / commercial area - both of which include landscaped courtyards over subterranean parking- and the centrally located Linear Park. The residential area includes two public parks with playgrounds, an amphitheater, and a fountain plaza. It is noteworthy that much of the apartments and pool areas are all located over structural underground parking. Care was given to the materials and plant palette to meet structural require- ments, as well as to achieve the desired lush effect. Linear Park. functions as an interface between the apartments and the mixed use area. An Interactive Splash Plaza is located at the source of the creek, which journeys through lush landscape, bridges, and finally culminates at the Granite Fountain Plaza.
