Linear Park is the centerpiece for the Bay Meadows Mixed-Use Redevelopment, and a social hub for events and festivities. The 1.35-acre narrow site is located between residential development to the north, and commercial development to the south. We refined the Master Plan for the whole redevelopment, and saw the project through completion in 2003. Our firm was challenged with diverse issues arising from site constraints, environmental concerns and public demands. The resulting harmonious design addressed the needs of different user groups while creating a memorable image for the adjacent community.
