STREET: The streetscape along this multi-jurisdictional corridor emphasizes transit access and neighborhood connectivity with improved pedestrian and bicycle thoroughfares.
Through public workshop facilitation and close coordination with the City, we addressed multiple agencies’ goals and priorities in our design guidelines.

RAIN GARDEN: We designed two series of rain gardens in the parkway, as part of the streetscape improvement project.
The rain gardens, sponsored by the S.F. Estuary Partnership and funded in part through the State Water Resources Control Board, collect urban runoff from the surrounding streets and sidewalks, and filter it before it enters the storm drain system connected to our creeks and San Francisco Bay. We also designed educational signage in three languages, explaining their function.
